Wedding Cuppies

Was tasked to bake wedding cupcakes recently by an aunt. The specific instruction was to create simple, nice and yummy cuppies. Tough huh? It is for a self-taught baker like me. So, I came up with the red velvet cuppies, but this time minus the red colouring, smeared the cream cheese frosting on top, sprinkled coloured sugar and stuck a cute rose in the middle of the cuppies. Ta-da..

 

Cuppies In A Jiffy

Received a really last minute order for red velvet cuppies recently. Was only able to make the big ones as I lacked the cups for the small cuppies at that point of time. Was grateful that they turned out fine. The big cuppies are those with 2.5 inches diameter and weigh around 2.5-3 oz. Thank you for your order Diana!

Red Velvet Cupcakes

I've always wondered what's this hype over red velvet cuppies. Until the day I decided to bake my own, I now know why. The moist cake, the rich chocolate taste, the nice dark red colour and to top it all, the yummy cream cheese frosting. I've tried those sold in the shops with normal buttercream frosting. In my personal opinion, nahhh! It doesn't work that way. Red velvets have gotta come with cream cheese frosting ;) Anyway, I'm selling the large sized cuppies for RM25 for minimum order of 12.
